Questions & answers

How do I use the ICS download?

Open or import it in a calendar application, then check the title, time and reminder. The website does not connect to your calendar.

Does this send invitations?

No. It creates a file for import and includes no attendees or email delivery.

What timezone are timed events in?

UTC. Calendar applications usually display them in your selected local timezone. Enter the desired UTC time explicitly.

Will weekly repeats stay at the same local hour?

Not necessarily. They stay at the same UTC hour, so a daylight-saving transition can change the displayed local time.

How are all-day end dates handled?

You enter the final included date. The file uses the next date as the exclusive end, as required by iCalendar.

Can repeated imports create duplicates?

Yes. A new build gets a new event identifier. Import the file once and manage later changes in your calendar application.

Is my input uploaded for processing?

Processing runs in a local browser worker with no input upload and no account. Website advertising and analytics are described in the privacy information.
