Tips for a great username & privacy
        • Short and sayable wins. 6–12 characters with no more than two numbers are easier to remember and type. The score on each card rewards exactly that.
        • Stay consistent. Pick a name that fits all the platforms you use. The coloured badges show where it is valid.
        • Keep it private. Avoid your full name, birth year, school or city if you want to stay anonymous.
        • Taken? Open “Variations” for close alternatives such as the_, its, real, a dot or an underscore.
        • Ideas are made in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere. Favorites are saved only when you turn on “Remember in this browser”.

        Using Username Generator

Find a username you like for Instagram, TikTok, Discord, Roblox, YouTube or any game. Mix in your name or interests, choose a vibe and a platform, and every idea is checked against that platform's username rules and scored for how easy it is to remember.

        1. Optionally type your name, nickname or interests (up to 3 words), for example “Alex music”.
        2. Pick one or more vibes — cool, aesthetic, cute, gamer, funny, fantasy, dark, tech and more — and the name styles you like, such as adjective + noun, blended words or invented brandable names.
        3. Choose your platform. Ideas then follow its length and character rules, for example lowercase letters, numbers, dots and underscores on Instagram.
        4. Set letter case, numbers and length. Ideas update instantly; press New ideas for a fresh batch or Load more to keep going.
        5. Click a name to see which platforms accept it, open its profile address to see if it is taken, and get close variations. Star favorites and download them as text or CSV.

        Example

Keywords “luna”, vibe Aesthetic, platform Instagram: ideas like “lunarbloom”, “softluna” and “luna.haze”, all valid Instagram usernames.
Taken? Open the name and pick a variation such as “its.lunarbloom” or “lunarbloomx”.

        Questions & answers

Does it check if a username is available?

It cannot see other sites' accounts, so it does not claim a name is free. It checks each platform's published rules and gives a “Look up” link to the public profile address: if a profile appears, the name is taken; if none appears it may still be reserved or banned.

        Which platforms are supported?

Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube handles, Twitch, Discord, Reddit, Roblox, Minecraft, Snapchat, Telegram, GitHub and Pinterest. Each card shows badges for where a name is valid, and the details view explains any rule a name breaks.

How do I make a username with my name?

Type your name or nickname in the first box. It is mixed into most ideas — for example with an adjective, a noun, “its”, “the” or a short ending — and accents are converted to plain letters, since most platforms only allow Latin letters.

        What does the score mean?

It estimates how easy a name is to remember and type: 6–12 characters, easy-to-say letter patterns and few numbers or symbols score higher. Great is 85+, Good is 70+.

Can I get the same list again?

Yes. Set a repeatable seed in More options; the same seed and settings always produce the same ideas.

Are my words or favorites uploaded?

No. Ideas are made in your browser. Favorites are saved in this browser only when you turn on “Remember in this browser”, and you can download them as text or CSV.

        Are inappropriate names filtered?

Word lists are curated, and generated names are checked against a list of offensive words, including invented or blended words. Always read a name before using it.
