PDF Merge & Split
Combine PDFs in your chosen order, extract selected pages, or split pages into separate PDFs. Files are processed locally in your browser.
Up to 10 files, 25 MiB each and 50 MiB total; up to 500 source/output pages. Individual-page split: up to 50 outputs.
Select PDFs to begin.
Files & page order
Add files, then Check files to read their page counts. Use Move up / Move down to change file order.
Output plan
Select PDFs to begin.
Pages start at 1. Leave a selection blank for all pages, or enter 1-3, 5. Entries stay in the order you enter them, so 3, 1-2 reorders pages and 2, 2 repeats a page. Ranges must ascend.
Downloads
Created files appear here. Individual-page outputs have separate download buttons. Changing files or settings clears old outputs.
Using PDF Merge & Split
Combine static PDFs or create new PDFs from selected pages. Processing stays in your browser, and original files remain unchanged.
- Choose Merge or Split / extract, then add PDFs. Click Check files to read page counts. Use unencrypted, static PDFs without forms or digital signatures.
- For Merge, arrange files with Move up / Move down. Enter page selections per file, or leave them blank for all pages. For Split, keep one source and choose a combined extract or individual-page outputs. Review the output plan.
- Click Create PDF output, wait for completion and download each result. Check the downloaded pages before using them. Inputs or settings changing clears old outputs.
Example
Merge: file A selection 1-2, followed by file B selection 3, 1. Result: A page 1, A page 2, B page 3, B page 1. Split: select 2-4 for one three-page extract, or three separate one-page PDFs.
Questions & answers
Are PDF files uploaded or stored?
No. A locally bundled library processes the files in a browser worker. Files and page contents are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Outputs are downloaded only when you click their download buttons.
How do page ranges and ordering work?
Page numbers start at 1. Blank means all pages. Use comma-separated pages and ascending ranges, such as 1-3, 5. Entries keep their order, so 3, 1-2 reorders pages and 2, 2 duplicates a page. File order is controlled with Move up / Move down.
Can I split every page into its own PDF?
Yes. Choose Split / extract one PDF and One PDF per selected page. Leave the selection blank for every page, or enter specific pages. This mode allows up to 50 output PDFs, each with its own download button.
Can I open password-protected or signed PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs, PDFs with forms and signature-related documents are rejected. This tool does not remove passwords or preserve digital signatures. Use static, unencrypted source PDFs without forms or signatures.
What PDF features are kept or omitted?
Copied pages retain their page content, size and rotation without rasterizing. Comments, links and other annotations are omitted. Bookmarks, attachments and document-level interactive features are not copied. Check outputs, especially documents with annotations or unusual features.
Does this compress PDFs or guarantee a smaller file?
No. It copies selected pages into new PDFs. Shared resources and document structure can change, so output size may increase or decrease. It does not edit text, repair documents or perform OCR.
What limits apply?
Use up to 10 files, 25 MiB per file and 50 MiB total. Source and selected output pages are limited to 500 in total. Individual-page splitting allows up to 50 outputs, with 50 MiB total output. Processing stops after 30 seconds; complex PDFs may hit memory limits sooner.
What happens if I cancel or change settings?
Cancel terminates the processing worker. Changing files, page selections, operation or output style clears previous outputs and stops any running work. The original files remain unchanged; you can check or process them again.
