Start with the example, then edit the labelled content, dimensions or geometry. Export includes editable SVG and design evidence. PNG/PDF buttons create raster proofs; projects with binary sources need their original files when reopened.

Using Booklet Creep Compensation Planner

Preview progressive offsets using measured sheet thickness and signature structure.

  1. Choose Try example to see the complete booklet creep compensation planner workflow. Use the labelled settings for dimensions/style, and the Content panel for the worked example’s JSON structure.
  2. Adjust the nearby controls and content, then update the artwork/template. Undo and redo restore text/settings decisions. Print geometry uses millimeters; verify the supplied dimensions and allowances.
  3. Inspect Design data/Measurements and Review for actual evidence. Multi-page outputs provide a page selector and previous/next buttons.
  4. Export editable SVG, complete ZIP or PNG/PDF proofs. PDF contains rasterized page proofs with physical page sizes; print at actual size and use SVG when you need vectors. Save project keeps input/settings; reselect original image/font files to rebuild binary-source projects.

Example

The tailored example generates 12 design records. Uses a transparent linear sheet-index × measured thickness × multiplier approximation. It exports a planning schedule and a nested-sheet proof, not a rewritten imposed PDF; actual stock, fold compression, signature and binding measurements govern production.

Questions & answers

What does Booklet Creep Compensation Planner support?

Uses a transparent linear sheet-index × measured thickness × multiplier approximation. It exports a planning schedule and a nested-sheet proof, not a rewritten imposed PDF; actual stock, fold compression, signature and binding measurements govern production.

What input should I use?

Use the labelled settings for dimensions/style, and the Content panel for the worked example’s JSON structure. Load the tailored example to see the supported fields. Edit content or geometry here; settings control the visible artboard. Measurements for print templates are in millimeters.

What can I download?

Export contains the task’s actual SVG files and evidence, a JSON/CSV report and complete ZIP. Where generated, DXF files contain supported line/circle geometry in millimeters. PNG and PDF are browser-rendered raster proofs capped to a 2,200-pixel long edge; multipage PDF retains the declared physical dimensions and supports up to 20 pages.

What should I check before using the result?

Print at actual size, measure a reference and test a small paper/material prototype. Templates do not infer machine settings, material strength or production tolerances. Processing uses your local supplied evidence; nothing is uploaded, sent to a printer or applied to a live system. Public pages retain approved ads and optional consent-based analytics.
